El grupo se formó en 1990 bajo el nombre de Dominion . Grabaron un primer demo titulado Morbid Death, seguido por Possessed By Darkness , Massacre In Blood y Nocturnal Spells en los años 1990 . Su primer álbum de demostración, Ancient Storms of War , lanzado en 1999, fue grabado cuatro años antes por el cantante Tyrant (invocaciones y tormentos bestiales), el guitarrista Funeral-aka Kevin Fye ( guitarras de tormentas satánicas y conjuros ), el bajista Massacre ( bajo diabólico y Blasfemia ), y el baterista Desecrator ( destrucción infernal y percusión ).
